The PBFR MC will also meet at the Stompin Grounds the week-end of Oct 20 and 21 to get together and ride the trails. We will also have a club party on Saturday, the 20th, in the campground area at the Stompin Grounds. PBFR MC members are extending an invitation to attend to riders who have thought about joining a club or just want to come have fun riding the MRT with us. If you are not familiar with the MRT, this will be a good opportunity to do so. There will be plenty of members there who will be glad to show you around the trail system. Our club has riders at all skill levels and many have young riders in the family. So, if you’re an experienced rider, want to ride with your kids, or just starting, we should be able to hook you up. Camp with us at the Stompin Grounds. Primitive camping is also available at the MRT trailhead, 3 miles north of the Stompin Grounds. Check our “Things to do/Places to Stay” link for ideas on other resort and camping options in the Akeley area. The MRT is beautiful in the fall and all D23 events are done by then. We are also planning on running our poker run. It has been a hit in the past. Don’t miss it. It could be a busy week-end so make reservations early.
